To be able to reuse the mask several times, we recommend for disinfection:
Washing at 60°C
then ironing at 200°C
The mask can be washed at 95°C, but this will damage the rubber band. Therefore we advise against hot wash.
Cotton masks are not a hundred percent protection against infection. However, it may be useful for everyone to wear masks in public - as long as other protective measures, such as washing hands or keeping your distance, are not neglected.
These simple masks may not work as well as respirators with filters, which can stop over 99 percent of viruses and should be reserved for medical personnel. However, infections can still be prevented if they are worn correctly (nose and mouth covered).
The large droplets - when coughing and sneezing - are caught and offer a little more protection, especially for the person opposite, should you be infected yourself.

Diese einfachen Masken wirken zwar weniger gut als die Atemschutzmasken mit Filter, die über 99 Prozent der Viren abhalten können und dem medizinischen Personal vorbehalten bleiben sollten. Aber es können Infektionen verhindert werden, wenn sie richtig getragen werden (Nase und Mund bedeckt).
Die großen Tröpfchen ? beim Husten und Niesen - werden damit abgefangen und bieten vor allem dem Gegenüber etwas mehr Schutz, sollte man selbst infiziert sein.
